Happy crutches 😊

I will be walking with crutches for a little while. I felt that they need a bit of color ... A little legwarmer.

Maybe two?

Four?

More color and joy .... Flowers!

Be happy with crutches!!!!

Octopussy for premature babies

I broke my achilles tendon a week ago. Now I am stuck with crutches and no sports, ballet, dance for weeks to come... Awful! ... But - positive news - time for crocheting .... Something meaningful.... Octopussies for premature babies who need something to grab on, instead of vital tubes that keep them alive. This is a crowd-crocheting initiative launched by a Finnish hospital. I feel useful! Again.

My daughter made a Blue one. I made a green one. Growing the Family.

One more in yellow.

Easter egg project

hmmmm... A case of eggs .. Filled with chocolate ...

Maybe a girl with a crochet beanie would be cool ...

Easter without Minions would also be boring ...

Lonely cowboy....

The more the merrier!

Scarf in pastel shades

Spring is in the air and I needed something to do on our way back home from Lapland few weeks ago. So I started crocheting.... A scarf.

With my cat Rosa we were discussing how long it should be.

Done. Ready to wear!

The pattern.

Simple pullover that took 9 months to make

For some reason it takes me months to make crochet stuff for men. However, this guitarrist has a Blue pullover now. 9 months of double-crochet, double-crochet ...

... now I Focus on girly stuff again!

Pink flower wreath

It is Christmas time. So, of course, I felt like making yet another wreath. It is no that Christmas-like, but who cares.

It all got started with a heart. I crocheted a band that covers the heart

The color, baby pink felt too sissy, so I took my spray bottle out and did some spraying.

I also crocheted little flowers of equal size and sprayed them a little bit as well.

I sew all the flowers on the heart one by one

and hung the wreath on my door. Now Christmas may come. I'm all set up for the holiday season.
